We Are What We Eat
Leah’s Journey
Through nutrition education & empowerment, I found my way to a more healthy me. If we make some simple changes in lifestyle, we can get well — I am living proof! Over 15 years, (and 40lbs ago), I was struggling with a lack of energy and depression. Encouraged by friends, I found my way into a “new mom” boot camp and so began my love for group fitness and appreciation for nutrition. My certification in fitness instruction lead to a passion for eating better and certification in health coaching through Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). For over 8 years, I have been motivating clients to reach their long term health goals, one small habit change at a time.
I currently work remotely or in person with adults, families, teens, and lead small groups and workshops on specific topics. I also present to corporate groups, schools and many non-profits. I am inspired by more people truly wanting to improve their overall health & immunity.
In working with clients, and inspired by his/her personalized needs for better health, I started creating recipes for them in my own kitchen. In 2018, we got an opportunity to work out of a local restaurant on their “day off.” So began Chia Leah Clean Eats, a delicious & wholesome snacks & treats product line. All of our health coach created snacks are available here and in over 35 stores locally (and even Wisconsin and Atlanta).
Our mission at Chia Leah is to share a healthy lifestyle through nutrition education and our Clean products line. Healthy living has changed Leah’s life on small step at a time. We want everyone to feel better and live better.
Stay connected to Chia Leah with great tips and inspiration for fueling your health and wellness.

Testimonials
I started working with Leah years ago. As Leah has pointed out throughout our work, your weight is not everything but it's one data point to consider. Since then, my life has been nothing short of being transformed. I have more energy, I am happier on a regular basis, I have more respect for myself, and my life has never been more exciting. Not to mention, I have lost 12 pounds as of today. She has taught me how to take care of myself on a much more holistic level. She has an approach that does not make you feel guilty when you make mistakes. She starts each session by asking “what's new and good?” At the start of our work, this question frightened me, but now I can answer positively and confidently.

Attending the Chia Leah Fall Workshop was like hitting the "reset button" to getting back on track and making healthy choices for myself and family. I left the workshop with tools to help me organize my kitchen better, recipes to make smarter meals for my family and a stronger understanding of foods that help body and improve energy levels. The class empowered me to want to make a change!

Leah, thank you so much for changing our family's eating style. Your great nutrition coaching and yummy samples have gotten our entire family on the healthy clean food wagon. Coupled with your personal training sessions it has transformed the way we live and eat.

You delivered one of the best lifestyle talks I have heard. I attended one of the few medical schools that had a course on human nutrition in the 1980s. It is a topic that fascinates me. To integrate it with sleep and exercise is revelatory! Kudos to you for blazing this trail and sharing your knowledge with the community!
